Hey there! I’m Laurel Shields.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and a Fitness Instructor. My goal is to get you great results.
I’ve worked with pre and post natal, Crohn’s, PCOS, and in Barbell Strength Training. I push you hard but reward your efforts. If you show up and try your best, I guarantee you’ll see the results you want.
No matter what your story is, we all have one. Here is mine:
Since I was young, I loved sports like dancing, judo, gymnastics, and swimming. Growing up around athletes made being active feel natural, and I knew I shouldn’t waste this gift. At 27, I had revisted everything in my life and what needed to change. I chose fitness as a career, as it has amazing benefits. It provided me with a deeper understanding of who I was. Strong, disciplined, and motivated. In two years, I focused on strengthening and conditioning. I achieved the athleticism I was gifted with. By 29, I was in my best shape, better than many around me, and fully passionate about fitness. I noticed many women my age struggled with basic movement, like bending or climbing stairs, because they lacked fitness. I wanted to help. Now at 30, I help clients get fit AND teach them why habits, balance, movement, and WHY muscle matters.
I do not take a cookie cutter approach. I will help you diligently as you deserve to get your desirable outcome.
I’ll advise you on what needs to change, and help you find your own strength.
